Leading you on this magnificent day will be Daniele, son of Salvatore – one of the last remaining fishermen in the Marine Protected Area.
Salvatore learned the art of fishing as a boy, taught by the fishermen from Ponza – true pioneers along our coasts in the 1960s. He passed on the trade with great passion to Daniele from a very young age: the life of a fisherman – tough, yet deeply rewarding.

Daniele, born and raised on the island of Molara where Salvatore served as caretaker for nearly thirty years, will guide you through the Tavolara Marine Protected Area, giving you a true taste of a fisherman’s life.

To crown the day, you’ll enjoy a lunch on board featuring the day’s fresh catch, accompanied by high-quality Sardinian local products – for a truly authentic experience of sea and tradition.

And if you’re really lucky, you might even find yourself on board with the legendary Salvatore himself – guardian of marine secrets and a master storyteller. Between tales he’ll share incredible stories about Molara, the sea, and how fishing used to be “back when the fish were bigger and phones didn’t exist.”
